Those look sweet acasanis. Nice build.
The rest of the parts arrived for my CFA 2...mainly the chassis. Hard to get much done without that.

I was planning on getting my 604D XOs done over Memorial Day weekend and then start on this, but as fate would have it I spent last weekend being treated for and recovering from my first, and hopefully only, heart attack. So now it looks like I'll have a few weeks off work and should be able to get lots of soldering done.
Hope your OK Alan ! By all means Take it Easy !
Thanks guys. I'm OK. Actually I feel better than I did before. I had 100% blockage in my right coronary artery. They put a stent in within an hour of onset and I feel 20 years younger.
FWIW, I don't drink or smoke. I eat pretty well an even drink 80 Oz of fresh carrot/celery/beet/watercress/kale & cucumber juice per week. I rode a bike 130 miles a week till I got a day job 5 years ago. My blood pressure is 125/74 and steady as a rock. My only indicator was genetically high cholesterol. I should have went on meds a few years ago, but I was stubborn and tried to control it with diet. I guess that plan failed miserably.
But I feel great. Normally I'd be up for an afternoon nap, especially after spending the past 3 days getting very little sleep in the hospital. But I was wide awake all day and couldn't nap if I tried. So maybe this was my 'wake up' call and with a little medication, I should be good to go.
Alan, I would have to say that WAS a wakeup call.
Glad you are here!
Ron
My BP is a bit lower than yours, I eat vegetarian every other week (as the kids mom brought them up that way so I still feel that...uhhh...pain?), Type 1 diabetic, no smoke, light drink, 50 in a couple months, same boat with the genetic lipids - and have been on statins for the last 10 years. They do not do good things for your short term memory...But hopefully they keep me alive. Start up on them.
My brother tried everything for diet control of lipids when he was ROTC at the UW, but it didnt work. He has been on Lipitor since then.
